Dela Andy Kumahor has almost 2 decades of experience creating digital products, services and communication by marrying human-centered design methods with business strategy and an ability to make things look and feel good. I live, work, teach and mentor out of Accra, Ghana. 

Dela Andy Kumahor worked previously fo miLife as the Head of Cutsomer Experiences and Digital Services and as Director, Design Lead at Cobalt Partners. He has also been an Adjunct Professor at the Ashesi University College where he lectured and coordinated courses on Design, e-Commerce and Human Computer Interaction.

At Cobalt Partners he built and managed the design team and worked on several cross-disciplinary (design, business analysis and software development) project teams. His projects and responsibilities included:

• Managing and mentoring a Design team of 6, as well as leading several cross-disciplinary project teams
• UX Research and Product Design and Testing for Vodafone Farmers’ Club — a mobile phone-based product for Ghanaian smallholder farmer
• Led and executed Usability Testing and Interaction Design of a mobile app for micro-loan applications
• Led Change and Product Management for PEG Africa, West Africa’s largest Solar Home Systems provider
• UX Research for a tablet-based app for Community Health Nurses
• Led a user research project for Star Oil, Ghana’s 4th largest Oil Marketing Company
• Led creation of a Design Thinking-based empowerment program for rural cocoa-farming communities for the Chocolonely Foundation
